Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 10, 2026

1. Who you are buying from

This website and the digital guide “The Becoming Her” are operated by The Becoming Her (“we”, “us”, “the seller”). When you place an order, your contract of sale is with the seller, resold through Paddle as described below. By using this website or purchasing the guide, you agree to these Terms & Conditions; if you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy the product.

You confirm that you are of legal age in your country of residence and capable of entering a binding contract.

2. The product

The Becoming Her is a digital self-development guide delivered as a downloadable PDF (59 pages, 15 chapters), together with access to a free online preview, a public book-summary library, and — after purchase — a member area where the full guide can be read online. Access credentials are personal to you; you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or placing an order.

3. Payments, taxes and order processing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, applicable taxes (including VAT/sales tax handled by Paddle), and the technical delivery of your order are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The price displayed at checkout is the price you pay, plus any tax Paddle is required to collect in your country.

4. Licence and acceptable use

When you buy the guide, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use. You may download, store and print the PDF for yourself. You may not:

  • resell, redistribute, share or upload the PDF, your account, or any part of the content publicly;
  • use the website or content for any unlawful purpose, fraud or spam;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights — ours or anyone else's;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the site (malware, probing, scraping, circumvention of technical limits).

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site and inside the guide — text, design, branding, images and the PDF itself — is owned by the seller and protected by copyright. Buying the guide does not transfer any ownership; it grants the personal licence described above.

6. Educational content, not professional advice

The guide is self-development material for general educational purposes. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional. Decisions you make after reading it are your own responsibility.

7. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the website and member area available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The site and the guide are provided “as is”; to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the guide is capped at the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the member area in case of material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback abuse, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious violations of the acceptable-use rules. Termination does not affect orders already delivered and paid for, and does not remove your refund rights under our Refund Policy.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller's jurisdiction, and any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
